Best Home Coffee Bar Organizers

A well arranged home coffee bar can boost your mood and your home’s style! Keep reading for our Must Haves for your home coffee bar. Whatever your favorite accessories, a little organization can make all the difference in whether your coffee station lifts your morning, or starts you off annoyed. These are our favorite counter top organizers that can be set in a corner of your kitchen, on a dedicated coffee cart, or at the center of your built in dedicated brewing bar.

Our choice of favorites are based on three criteria:

  • Organizational features – the more the better!
  • Ease of use (and assembly) – we don’t want to hate this by the time we’ve put it together.
  • Durability & Value – we don’t want to spend a small fortune for simple organization. And we don’t want to have to replace it too often.
  • Style is a personal choice, but we look for classic designs that will go with a variety of kitchen and dining decor

Best Coffee Bar Organizer!

1. We love the features on this organizer! A drawer is great for tucking away things like napkins, or for storing coffee pods. The three levels give plenty of room of cups, syrups, cream, frothers, and more! The little basket on the side is a nice extra touch.

2. Shelves and drawers are easy – both to use and put together. We didn’t have any trouble assembling this.

3. So far it has proven strong & sturdy for a reasonable price.

4. The combination of wood and black metal goes well with a variety of styles. It’s both traditional and modern.

1. This rack is perfect if you don’t want mugs taking up cabinet space. Ours is in the office where many people are using it. The bottom space holds sugar, creamer, spoons, napkins, etc. And our favorite feature: it has wheels! This tabletop cart can be rolled across the counter or to the middle of a table.

2. This was a bit more complicated to assemble because of the wheels, but completely doable. We like that the cup hooks can be spaced out as we wish making it work well for our particular needs.

3. The cup rack is a little wobbly when fully loaded, but well enough secured. The metal is strong and durable. And the wheels are surprisingly good, especially for the cost.

4. A decidedly industrial style well suited or our office. Black makes it classic and subtle. Could be painted though if you’d like a splash of color!

Economical Favorite!

1. Simple shelving that fits easily under the cabinet. If you don’t need drawers or other holders – or just want to add your own – this is for you.

2. Easy to assemble. The simplicity of the design means parts can be easily adjusted if necessary.

3. This is a basic item that does the job. It will show scratches and scrapes and may not last forever. For the price, we’re very happy with it.

4. We like this all black option that will work with any style. There is also a light wood grain option with the black metal sides. Both are attractive.

Must Haves for your Home Coffee Bar

Creating a home coffee bar can be a fun and satisfying project for coffee connoisseurs or ordinary coffee fans. Whether you want to replicate the feel of your favorite coffee shop or just a convenient place to brew your morning cup, there are a few must-haves that can take your home coffee bar to the next level. The perfect coffee station accessories can take your morning coffee from good to eye opening!

For now, we’ll assume that you’re setting up this coffee station on a cabinet or cart that you’ve already chosen. Having a designated space for your coffee bar with a countertop or shelf, as well as storage for your coffee supplies, can help keep your coffee-making area organized and functional. Check out our blog posts if you’re still looking for the perfect bar cart.

The Coffee!

First and foremost for a home coffee bar is the coffee itself. It all starts as coffee beans. How you get and handle those beans will dictate your other coffee bar accessories. True coffee connoisseurs prefer to buy small quantities of beans and grind them at home. For this you’ll also want to invest in airtight coffee containers to maintain freshness.

You might prefer coffee pods that are quick and easy, and increasingly delicious. Many people use something in between, with drip coffee calling for different coffee than pour-over preparations or a Nitro brew.  Experimenting with different roasts, origins, and flavor profiles can add excitement and variety to your morning routine.

Espresso maker for latte, cappuccino, affogato

Coffee Maker

Next, you’ll need a high-quality coffee maker. Whether you prefer a traditional drip coffee maker, a sleek espresso machine, or a convenient single-serve brewer, investing in a reliable coffee maker is essential for a home coffee bar. Consider factors like brewing capacity, speed, and ease of use when choosing a coffee maker that meets your needs. It’s not necessary to spend a great deal of money to get a good cup of coffee. However, spending a little more on your coffee machine (only as much as you can afford) can make a significant improvement in your drinking pleasure.

Grinder

In addition to a coffee maker, a good grinder is a must for most home coffee bars. Grinding your beans just before brewing can greatly enhance the flavor and aroma of your coffee. There are two main types of coffee grinders to consider: burr grinders and blade grinders. Burr grinders offer more precise control over the grind size. This is important for different brewing methods. Blade grinders are generally more budget-friendly.

Airtight containers are recommended for any leftover ground coffee and for your coffee beans. The variety of styles also means that these containers can add to the style of your drink station.

Coffee Cups & Mugs

Coffee lovers know that having the right coffee cups and mugs is essential for creating the perfect home coffee bar. Special cups add to the overall aesthetic of your space and can also help elevate your at-home coffee drinking experience.

You no doubt already have a collection of cups or mugs, including a few favorites and others that you’ve collected along the way. Perhaps you even have an actual collection of coffee mugs. Adding a few more that feel good in your hand, keep your morning tea of coffee hot (or cold), and that you feel pleased to use can add a surprising amount of joy to your coffee routine and your morning.

Additional Accessories

Home coffee station, espresso, tea kettle, syrups

Don’t forget a tea kettle and some high quality tea for your tea loving guests. House guests that might be want a warm drink over several mornings will especially appreciate this thoughtfulness. A small collection of tea bags is convenient and tasty. True tea connoisseurs will appreciate loose teas, with the necessary infuser or filter. These are available for single servings or for larger tea pots. Check out one of our favorite little tea pots. It’s perfect for one large mug of tea, or two more reasonable size cups.

Adding some of these must-haves for your home coffee bar, you can create a personalized and enjoyable coffee experience that rivals your favorite coffee shop. Whether you’re a casual coffee drinker or a serious home barista, having the right equipment and supplies can elevate your at-home coffee experience and make every cup a pleasure to brew and savor.

Some even come with built-in drawers for storing additional items such as stirring sticks or napkins. These organizers are perfect for creating a designated coffee station in your kitchen and can really upgrade your coffee bar decor.

Rolling Cart

If you prefer a more mobile solution, or don’t have any countertop area to spare, a rolling cart might be the perfect choice for you. These carts often include shelves, drawers, and even a built-in coffee maker stand. They frequently include a cup holder for multiple cups. You can easily move the cart around your kitchen, allowing you to customize your coffee station to suit your needs.
